Description
The small white tubular flowers appear from between colourful floral bracts on terminal flower spikes. Young plantlets can take root if they touch the ground.
Irregularly, the flowers are followed by rounded seed capsules. The leaves of the Alpinia red plant are sessile, alternate green and oblong in shape. Generally, it is found growing at the age of lowland forests, roads or trails. The best planting season is the rainy season and should be planted in the pot. The flowers are popular for tropical flower arrangements.
