Description
Khurpa is a short-handled cutting tool with a flat blade used for digging soil and weeding in small gardens. It is similar to a trowel and commonly used in small firms or earth up the weeds or rows of vegetables to hoewing. The word Khurpa is a Punjabi word. Traditionally, it is used in squatting posture for various processes like bed preparation, tilling, weeding and digging at a small scale.
Khurpa is used to cut branches of trees, for filling pots with potting mix, place fertilizer, spread compost and many other uses.
